What the Trip Looks Like: Your Itinerary

Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect during a 10-day adventure with PNG Surfaris:

Day 1 (Travel Day): Arrival in Kavieng You’ll be welcomed aboard the PNG Explorer, where the crew will introduce you to your home for the charter. You’ll settle in as the boat anchors off the coast, soaking in the first of many stunning sunsets. The evening is spent relaxing, preparing for the surf-filled days ahead.

Days 2-9: Surfing/ Culture/ Adventure. We’ll take you to a variety of uncrowded surf spots within New Ireland Province. These waves range from mellow, beginner-friendly breaks to more challenging barrels. The crew will be on hand to guide you through each session, ensuring you get the most out of your time in the water.

You will experience cultural immersion. This cultural immersion includes meeting the local community, learning about their way of life, and experiencing a traditional welcome ceremony. Day 10 (Travel Day): We return to Kavieng on the penultimate day and get ready in the evening for the early start on Day 10 and our trip home.
